From Ashes to Ash, Dust to Stardust: The Ins and Outs, Ups and Downs of Alchemical Soul<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beverley Zabriskie guides the listener through Jung’s understanding of alchemical soul, “where the personal and the world soul are the sources of all animation. Existence is animated by encounter with otherness; within the self, between the self and another, amid the self and the world. The individual keeping faith with soul honors difference, celebrates the embodied, suffers the reality of being oneself, and finds one’s place in the world. From this process comes the precious ‘ash,’ the product and residue of soul’s unions and separations, descents and ascents, between the dust from which we came and the stardust to which we may go.”<\/p>\n
