Jung asserted that in the dreamlike world of India, the primitive and the civilized aspects coexist without a split. India offers an \u201cOther Way\u201d of civilizing people, without suppression, violence or rationalism. In contrast, the Western person lives in the rational\/cultural world, with the primitive aspect of psyche dissociated in the unconscious \u2013 without the modulating impacts of culture and consciousness.
