{"id":6645,"date":"2019-09-07T13:50:55","date_gmt":"2019-09-07T13:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jungchicago.org\/blog\/?product=james-tarot-individuation"},"modified":"2023-08-22T13:59:54","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T18:59:54","slug":"james-tarot-individuation","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/jungchicago.org\/blog\/product\/james-tarot-individuation\/","title":{"rendered":"Exploring the Tarot as a Tool for Individuation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Exploring the Tarot as a Tool for Individuation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Topics:\u00a0Alchemy and the Occult, Archetypes, Psyche<\/p>\n<p>In this course, participants will explore the divination system known as The Tarot from the perspective of the individuation process, particularly as described by Marie-Louise von Franz in part three of <i><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2jYvMBx\">Man and His Symbols<\/a><\/i>, \u201cThe Process of Individuation.&#8221; The relationship of major and minor arcana, the two subsets of the Tarot deck, will be discussed with reference to the personal and collective unconscious, and an investigation into the archetypal ground of the cards will be engaged.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will learn at least two basic ways to use the cards for personal growth, and an introduction into giving a personal reading will be included.<\/p>\n<p>Recorded on Friday, January 3, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><b>Audio Quality:<\/b>\u00a0There was an issue with the lapel microphone so this recording is of the podium microphone.
