Elaine Molchanov, LCSW, ACSW<\/h2>\r\nBorn in Chicago, I finished my B.S. and M.S.W. by age 21, then moved to Austin, Texas to work at the University of Texas\u2019s student mental health clinic. I began to have dreams and experiences that pointed me towards Jung (particularly the workshop \u201cFinding God in the Unconscious\u201d at the Jung Hotel in New Orleans!). Discovering Harry Wilmer, the only Jungian analyst in Texas, I began analysis and training. I practiced sandplay and visual art with Joan Buresh in Santa Fe, and through a dream was called to India and Siddha Yoga. The story of my life subsequently has been the interface between Jungian psychology and spiritual practice.\r\n\r\nI married Al Collins and moved to Alaska, where our two children (an artist and a religion scholar) were raised, joining the Chicago Institute in 2009.
