Stewart, Elizabeth-Anne

Elizabeth-Anne Stewart, PhD, BCC, PCC, a Board-Certified Life Coach, author, and spiritual director with over thirty years’ experience offering inner guidance, provides retreats, workshops, and seminars both in the U.S. and internationally. Born in England, raised on the Mediterranean island of Malta, she has always been a leader with multiple interests, inexhaustible energy, and a delight in creativity. ​As a faculty member at DePaul University, she was known as “The Great Motivator,” a quality that remains the hallmark of her coaching practice and other areas of professional life.

Committed to the transformation of consciousness, she works with groups and individuals interested in discovering their deepest, most authentic selves. One of her specialties is the use of imagery both in therapeutic and coaching contexts. In 1989, she developed “Image Guidance,” a powerful tool which allows clients to access their inner wisdom through their own unique images; over the years, she has worked with countless clients and has presented her research to such groups as The Illinois Nurses Association, Resurrection Healthcare Chaplains, The National Association of Catholic Therapists, Spiritual Directors International (SDI), C.G. Jung Institute (Chicago), The Lutheran School of Theology (LSTC), DePaul University, St. Xavier University and the Office for Ministry Formation (Archdiocese of Chicago).

Though she serves primarily in Christian contexts, Dr. Stewart companions people from every faith as well as those without a formal religious tradition; her mission is to “assist spiritual seekers connect more deeply with their Divine Source so they can tap into the extraordinary capacities within.” Trained in the art of Spiritual Direction at the Claret Center, Chicago, she holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Malta and has published 12 books, including her recent work, Mind-Shifting Imagery: Image Guidance for Life Coaches; she is a member of Spiritual Directors International (SDI) and the International Coach Federation (ICF); You can learn more about her at elizabeth-annestewart.com.
