The Balance Between Collaboration and Intervention

This presentation will explore the findings of 25 years of qualitative research, based on interviews of clients who have suffered from Complex Interpersonal Trauma throughout the Developmental Life Cycle.  Based on this research Mary Jo will present the essential ingredients of effective trauma treatment across all theoretical and clinical models.  Harnessing a client’s resources and neuro plasticity we will examine a meta treatment framework, The Collaborative Change Model and the role of attachment in the therapeutic process, defining the concept of Ethical Attunement.
