August Cwik, PsyD is a clinical psychologist, hypnotherapist and senior diplomate Jungian Analyst in private practice in the Chicago area. After studying Chemistry as an undergraduate, he entered military service and then changed his career path to psychology. After studying with Rosiland Cartwright in the Dream and Sleep Lab at the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle, he attended the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He interned at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry where he trained in hypnotherapy and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and returned to Chicago to begin private practice. He is a training analyst at C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago and the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts. He is on the Board of the Journal of Analytical Psychology and The Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism. He is former: Co-Director of Training of the Analyst Training Program and the Jungian Psychotherapy Program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago. He provides videoconferencing supervision and analysis. He has published on analytic structure, supervision, alchemical imagery, active imagination, dreams, and numerous reviews. Lois Khan, PhD was a practicing psychoanalyst in the Chicago area and Tennessee for almost 50 years. She also taught at the University of Chicago, in addition to lecturing as a psychologist throughout the world.  

Lucille Klein, MA, NCPsyA was a Jungian analyst in Matteson, Illinois. Her essay on “The Goose Girl” appears in Psyche’s Stories: Modern Jungian Interpretations of Fairy Tales, vol. 2.

Laura McGrew, MA, LCPC has been an analyst for over 30 years, and practices in Evanston and Chicago. Laura received a BA in 1963 in Liberal Arts from Northwestern University where she studied English Literature. She went on to receive her MA in 1978 in Communication Science at Governors State University, where she specialized in groups: Theories and Practice. In 1989, she received her Diploma as a Jungian Analyst from the Chicago Society of Jungian Analysts and went on to become an active member of the Chicago Institute, becoming chair of the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Institute in 1994. When the Institute separated into two entities, she became chair of the Board of the newly named “C. G. Jung Center”, and has served on the Board as a member through 2014. Laura now serves as a Board Member Emeritus of the C. G. Jung Center. In addition to serving on the Board, Laura is a volunteer at the Clinic and also presents Public Programs.

Peter Mudd, LCSW, NCPsyA served as Executive Director of the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago from 1981-2000 and Director of Studies of the Institute’s Analyst Training Program from 1984-1995. Editor, International Abstracts in Analytical Psychology, Associate Editor, Journal of Analytical Psychology 1990-1995. Served as a board member, Treasurer and President for the Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism from 1988-2003, and on numerous other boards of Jungian organizations. Currently in Private Practice in Evanston, specializing in Jungian analysis, psychotherapy, clinical supervision and organizational consultation.

Ms. Shaw is a licensed clinical social worker who has maintained a private practice of psychotherapy and Jungian analysis for 30 years and served on the Board of The C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago from 1992-1998. She currently teaches at the Jung Center of Evanston. Ms. Shaw consulted for Fortune 100 companies in organizational development, team building, and initiatives of transitioning technology. While serving with the Veteran’s Health Organization (VHO), in the Behavioral Health Lab, Ms. Shaw helped veterans address problems including bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorders, and mood and anxiety disorders.

Murray Stein, PhD is a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute/Zurich and is a training analyst at the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (ISAPZ). He is a founding member of the Inter-Regional Society for Jungian Analysts (USA) and the Chicago Society of Jungian Analysts and was president of the International Association for Analytical Psychology from 2001 to 2004. He has written several books, including Jung's Treatment of Christianity, In MidLife, Transformation – Emergence of the Self, Jung's Map of the Soul and The Principle of Individuation.
